Hand-spun, hand-dyed organic mohair blended wool
Our organic mohair blended yarn is 70% sheeps wool, hand-spun together with 30% mohair from Angora goats reared in Ankara province (the original home of the Angora goat). The mohair blend adds extra warmth, but feels and knits like our pure wool, and is similarly hardwearing. Dyeing and fixing is often done in the same vat as the equivalent pure wool colour. We currently have six colours as well as undyed natural yarn. These are 100g (3.5oz) skeins of 2-ply yarn - if you would like us to wind your yarn into balls, just write us a note in your order.
